Missions:
• Manage, coordinate, and supervise the Canvas/Generator Shop teams, ensuring efficient daily operations and effective allocation of resources.
• Plan, execute, and supervise the maintenance planning in close collaboration with the Operations Team, ensuring that operational targets, quality requirements, deadlines, and customer expectations are consistently met.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), including operational performance, productivity, quality, delivery timelines, workload and resource utilisation. Identify deviations, define corrective actions, and follow up on their implementation to ensure continuous improvement.
• Develop, document, optimise, and implement operational processes and procedures for the specialised workshops, with a focus on efficiency, quality, standardisation, and compliance with USAF requirements.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with USAF standards, technical requirements, internal procedures, and applicable quality standards.
• Prepare technical data sheets, technical reports, work instructions, and other technical documentation in English.
• Assist with the research, identification, and procurement of spare parts and technical equipment.
• Review, verify, and control spare parts orders prior to execution, ensuring technical suitability, availability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with requirements.
• Maintain professional communication and coordination with suppliers and the customer.
• Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of technical databases and documentation systems.
• Support and develop employees by identifying individual strengths and development needs, encouraging professional growth, promoting teamwork, and contributing to a positive, performance-oriented and safety-focused working environment.
• Identify training requirements and coordinate and organise employee training and development programmes according to operational needs and individual development objectives.
• Develop and maintain an annual budget plan for the specialised workshops, including equipment, training and other operational requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimise workflows, reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase the overall performance of the specialised workshops.
• Prepare management reports and provide regular updates on operational performance, KPIs, staffing, training requirements, and ongoing improvement projects.
Profile :
• Holder of an electrician qualification or a secondary school diploma (classical or general education) in mechatronics
• Languages: Luxembourgish and English required; French and German will be considered an asset
• Basic computer skills, particularly MS Office
• Previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical work will be considered an asset
• Low-voltage (LV) / High-voltage (HV) authorisations are considered an asset
• Versatile, motivated, and proactive
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• High level of professional ethics, discretion, and confidentiality
